Play Local, South London Gallery
In 2015 I evaluated South London Gallery's Play Local project. This involved three months of observations, interviews and participatory evaluation with playworkers, children, parents, artists and staff. Play Local is a three year programme based around five Peckham housing estates, and the long-term goal of programme is to explore connections between contemporary art and play through engagement with local residents. The focus of my evaluation was to understand the impact of the programme for different groups and individuals involved, and to gather ideas for future change.
